TheatreSports at the Old Mill

Details: TheatreSports, Cape Town’s longest running show, celebrates over 16 years of non-stop performance. TheatreSports is improvised theatre, made up on the spot by a talented group of players who create scenes and stories based on suggestions from the audience. Two teams compete to get the highest and most outrageous score as Shakespeares, Boy Bands, Sci-fi musicals, Animal Soap Operas, Modern Westerns and on the spot duets get made up and performed.

Nederburg Harvesting Experience

Details: On arrival, Nederburg will treat you to a welcoming glass of sparkling wine and then the skilled harvesting team will reveal the finer points of how to hand-pick the choicest grapes. You will get to taste freshly pressed grape must, the fermenting juice, as well as some tank samples, following the journey from the vineyard to the bottle. After harvesting, a mouth-watering picnic brunch and Nederburg wines will be served on the lawns in front of the historic Manor House. We suggest wearing a hat, sunscreen and comfortable shoes. R180 per person (includes the picnic brunch and a bottle of Nederburg wine, from the Foundation or Winemaster’s Reserve ranges, per couple) R55 per child under 12. Wine Wonderland at Spier

Held in celebration of the annual grape harvest, the festivities will include games for children, fine wine and fabulous harvest foods.
